Irish Lullabies part II
Thank you for adding Irish Lullabies.
Irish Lullabies part 2 is a story that builds off of my first albums song Irish Lullabies, obviously. The quick story for the first song is a guy falls for a girl at a bar and thinks he's in love. Kind of like love at first sight but with alcohol and music. The premise behind the second song is as follows. I wake up, and the girl I was into isn't into me. Which is what really happened and part of why I wrote the first song.
The song:
Chord progression: D, F#, G, A
Lyrics:
I thought that I had finally found the one for life.
But it turns out that I wasn't her kind of guy.
She said that she had fun the other night.
but she blamed it on the drinks and the Irish lullabies.
Oh my father always said. I wouldn't find my Mrs. in a bar.
But I guess he was right, I should have listened that night. But instead I fell for her over Irish Lullabies.
Bridge: D, A, E, F#
Oh I wonder if those deep blue eyes. Are gazing at another guy tonight.
When your kissing on your gin. I hope you think of me.
So I'll go a sing to another tonight. And she'll fall those Irish lullabies.
Yes I'll go and sing to another tonight. And she'll fall for me.
So li-de-di-de-di-di, li-de-di-de-di-di, li-de-di-de-di-di, She's falling for me, over Irish Lullabies.
